9 months

Happy sweet birthday baby girl, nine months have come and gone so quickly.   I can’t believe in just 3 short months you will be 1, how crazy is that to even think.

In the past month we have given you more to eat on your own and you love it.  I think we are are on our last couple days of baby food.  You absolutely love black beans and cheerios, you could eat them all day long if we let you.  You are also a fan of any type of cracker but ritz appear to be your favorite.  We have had to be super careful on whatever is left on the ground, because if you can pick it up it is going in your mouth regardless of what it is…kind of gross.

You have regressed with your sleep you went from sleeping through the night to waking up twice in the middle of the night to feed.  Daddy thinks you are going through a growth spurt, I don’t know what it is but is is EXHAUSTING.

You crawl everywhere, you still easily pull yourself up on anything or anyone very easily.  You have recently stood up on your own but only for few seconds.  You will walk easily while holding on but you don’t show any interest in trying to get out there on your own to take a few steps.   You are growing more independent and will crawl throughout the house without us guiding you.

You have do have your own little language and you have started to say BA BA BA BA all the time, we are both anxious for a DA DA or MA MA but no sign of that yet.   You definitely appear to recognize more words and react to words more so than before.

You love when we get out, you love to observe new people.  You are still a little shy to any new person but you quickly warm up to people as long as they are not too pushy.

TEETH…6 of them now, 4 on top and 2 on the bottom.  You will randomly bite your daddy or me on our shoulders or sides.  It doesn’t happen often but when it does it HURTS.

Everyday I look at you I can’t imagine a life without you.  You are such a joy and everyday I can’t believe we have been blessed with such a precious little girl.

  1. Addie surprised me how she loved feeding herself. She was eating black beans, green peas and blueberries cut up. Doesn't sound like a great combination to me but she loved it. I was afraid I might have given her too much until I picked her up out of the highchair and realized half of her lunch was in her lap. Oh well a lesson for granny to check that next time. She is a joy to watch and I love seeing the changes each time I see her.
